Portable computing devices

Our roster of OEM partners includes some of the most respected and inventive names in technology for government.
  • Dell – offers two lines of business notebook computer systems (Latitude and Vostro) with models that are embedded Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband built-in. Customers can choose the embedded option up front or add it later by purchasing an upgrade kit from Dell.
  • HP – offers ten models with Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband built-in , from ultra-light 12” displays to mobile workstations with 15.4” displays and both Intel and AMD processors. Three HP models also provide upgradeability to future technologies.
  • Lenovo – offers thin, light ThinkPad® notebooks embedded with Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband built- that include the innovative Ultra Connect II Antenna to ensure an optimal signal and the hardware switch to control wireless radios. Lenovo also provides Access Connections Software that offers full integration and management of all connectivity technologies to make the steps involved in getting connected as seamless as possible.
  • Panasonic Computer Solutions Company – offers a full line of durable, reliable and wireless Toughbook laptops with magnesium alloy cases, shock-mounted hard drives, spill-resistant keyboards, and Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband built-in.
  • Sony - offers three models, including VAIO Lifestyle, TT and Z Series. Connect whenever and wherever needed, with Mobile Broadband Built in each VAIO® portable computer. Displays range from 8” to 13” with features spanning 7.5 hours battery life to scratch resistant LCD screens and shock resistance.
  • General Dynamics ITRONIX - offers four models combining performance and durability. These notebooks are designed to transition seamlessly from the desktop to the vehicle with Mobile Broadband built in. They are lightweight, fit anywhere, but still furnish the functionality of a full-featured notebook.
We work closely with these and other portable computing vendors to offer your agency embedded wireless data access on notebook computers as an easy-to-deploy option -- including support for GOBITM in a wide variety of models.

Law Enforcement
  • InterActPocketCop™ - PocketCop gives users in the field immediate, secure access to vital information they need to make decisions affecting the safety of the public. The software provides access to Local, State and Federal criminal justice database systems, DMV records, and warrants, as well as dispatch call information without the intervention of dispatch staff, clearing voice channels for emergency communications and staff for other duties. AES end-to-end encryption meets all FIPS 140-2 requirements, and fully protects all traffic on BlackBerry® and Windows Mobile devices. PocketCop is especially valuable for motor pools, bicycles, foot-beat, detectives, airport, school and other specialized units.
  • Info-Cop – provides field enforcement personnel with direct access to local, state, and federal crime databases in seconds. Through Info-Cop, disparate applications and agencies fuse their info sharing, messaging and chat over an all-public or private IP-based wireless network without middleware. Info-Cop works from any Windows-based laptop computer or wireless handheld PDA to gain access to complete motor vehicle info, warrants, summonses, warnings and flags, as well as photo images. It also configures with your department's CAD (computer-aided dispatch) systems, provides all NCIC (National Crime Info Center) codes in easy-to-use drop down boxes, and uses the highest level of encryption available (FIPS 140-2).

  • Ezenia InfoWorkSpace (IWS) – In times of crisis, IWS will help your mobile workers collaborate in a highly-secure, near real-time virtual environment. IWS integrates instant messaging, virtual office, and conferencing capabilities into a single, easy-to-use package to improve communications, enhance collaboration, and disseminate critical information.
  • Onset METAmessage® Emergency Communications – Onset METAmessage turns your existing BlackBerry deployment into an emergency communications network, taking advantage of BlackBerry’s ability to send messages directly from one device to another (PIN-to-PIN) and bypass the email infrastructure.
  • Wallace Wireless Incident Communicator (WIC) – a single, powerful, cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for both COOP and disaster recovery. WIC helps your agency store, communicate and update emergency plans, create forms and check lists, view images and CCTV camera feeds.
  • Wallace Wireless WIC OREIS Mobile – WIC OREIS Mobile lets your BlackBerry users identify chemicals from UNID, placards or Railcar IDs and access response procedures, almost instantly. Enterprise Data Management

  • Apriva® Sensa® – a secure, mobile mail solution for your agency’s Pocket PCs. Sensa is fully interoperable with popular email architectures, and is equipped with True Push Technology to ensure the safety of important, classified or confidential information. It’s compliant with FIPS 140-2, DoD 8100.2, JTIC Validation, Full Data-at-Rest protection, Anti-Virus protection, and CONUS NOC. This CAC/PKI enabled solution also works well with a variety of “smart card” readers.
  • Dexterra for IT Service Management (ITSM) (Acquired by Antenna TM Software) – this application suite makes information accessible at your IT staff’s fingertips, so they can provide a higher quality of service and work quickly and more efficiently, while keeping you on your ITIL path.
  • Good Mobile Messaging – this wireless messaging and data access system provides your agency’s mobile field forces with a two-way synchronized connection to Microsoft Exchange Server and other critical business applications. Low total cost of ownership includes software, service, support, powerful fleet management capabilities and state-of-the-art security, including VeriSign triple-DES end-to-end encryption of all email, data and attachments.
  • IBM® Mobile Office Entry Jumpstart – extends your agency’s enterprise information to your mobile workers. This solution provides wireless access to email, PIM, and popular applications while traveling, commuting, or changing location. IBM hardware, software, and services are all included to help your agency pilot, test, and run WebSphere software.
  • Kyocera Wireless KR1 Router – this portable wireless network enables Internet access via any EV-DO PC card or phone. The single unit includes an EV-DO PC card slot, four Ethernet ports, a USB port for connecting DO phones, an antenna and power supply, along with the ability to offer a wired or wireless LAN via 802.11g/b and 4-port Ethernet. Each KR1 router allows download speeds of up to 2.0 Mbps and Peak Upload speeds of up to 300-500 Kbps, and is compatible with a variety of EV-DO Rev A cards.
  • Onset METAmessage® Professional – provides productivity enhancements and secure access using wireless devices to virtually any data on your agency’s network. METAmessage Professional provides essential “beyond email” capabilities for every BlackBerry user, such as accessing contact info, tracking and submitting client time, spell checking, printing, updated billing and much more. METAmessage has over 1,300 installations, including government agencies such as the DoD, US House and U.S. Senate.

  • Trend Micro TM Mobile Security (TMMS) – protects your agency’s handhelds and mobile devices from the emerging threat of mobile malware, intrusions and hacking attacks. TMMS combines antivirus, firewall, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and protection from SMS text message spam in one compact software package for mobile devices. Trend Micro also provides mobile security for Windows Mobile smartphones and PDA devices.
  • Trust Enterprise Secure – Secures your agency’s data on mobile devices across many synchronization conduits. This enterprise-grade solution helps your agency secure and manage its mobile data on PDAs and Smartphones, along with data encryption for wireless devices. Education
  • Wallace Wireless WIC for Education – gives teachers and administrators the confidence to lead that comes from direct access to hard information.
